The return of Ronny Cedeno as our starting shortstop is a needed one. Chase D'Arnaud was sporting a terrible .224/.250/.294 line, while committing 7 errors in 21 games. Cedeno was .252/.311/.346 prior to the injury. Though he's not known for his bat, it is at least better than the one that D'Arnaud provides. In addition, Cedeno's .987 fielding percentage will bring stability to the middle infield.
